Travel & Stay
How to get here, some reco's on where to stay and what to explore.

By flight: Kraków John Paul II International Airport Kraków-Balice (KRK) has direct connections to most major European cities. From the airport, the city centre is a 20-minute taxi or train ride.
By train: Kraków Główny is well connected to Warsaw, Berlin, Vienna, and Prague.
By car: If you're up for a road trip, take the ferry from Nynäshamn to Gdańsk or from Karlskrona to Gdynia and enjoy the drive south through Poland to Kraków.
We recommend basing yourself in Stare Miasto (Old Town) or Kazimierz (the historic Jewish quarter). Both are walkable, beautiful, and full of cafés.
We have arranged guest rates at the hotels below. Just enter the code when you book directly through their website.

Wedding venue
The manor where the reception takes place also offers accommodation.
There are also plenty of great Airbnb options around the Old Town and Kazimierz — worth a look if you prefer a flat or a bigger group stay.
Church: Kościół św. Marcina on ul. Grodzka. Positioned right in the middle of the Old Town. Easy to walk from any hotel above (except Tomaszowice).
Reception: Dwór w Tomaszowicach is about 20 minutes outside the city centre. Transport is arranged from church ceremony to the venue.
The Main Market Square, with the Renaissance Cloth Hall standing proudly in the middle of it all.
The castle above the river — and the famous dragon myth, complete with his den by the water.
The old Jewish quarter, full of cosy cafés, bars and restaurants. Perfect for an evening stroll.
Listen for the trumpet call from the tower — played every hour, on the hour.
A walk along the boulevards, or a drink on one of the river barges.
The green park ring that wraps around the entire Old Town — made for slow walks and coffee to go.
A half-day trip just outside the city, and absolutely worth it. Underground chapels carved entirely out of salt.

Poland's smallest national park — a fairytale limestone valley with cliffs, caves and the Renaissance Pieskowa Skała castle. Barely 20 minutes from the manor itself.

A long but beautiful day trip to the mountains in the south, if you fancy proper alpine air.
